\tJesus quickly answered, \u201cLove the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.\u201d Then he added, \u201cAnd the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire Bible is built on those two laws.\u201d (Matthew 22:36-40) Later, the Apostle Paul would point out that \u201clove your neighbor as yourself\u201d sums up the entire law. After all, he said, love does no harm to its neighbor: if you love someone, you\u2019re not going to kill him, or steal from him, or do anything else but what would help him. (Romans 13:8-10, Galatians 5:14).<\/p>\n
