The purpose of the Book of Proverbs is laid out in the opening verses. They are simply designed to help the young and inexperienced understand how to live. They give general guidlines for life. If you’re looking for the instruction manual for life, the book of Proverbs is it. Of course, these are not promises or guarantees. Your mileage may vary. But if you follow the words of this instruction manual, you improve your odds of doing well in life, versus the person who chooses to ignore the manual until something goes wrong.<\/p>\n
