Daily Proverbs

Then you will understand what is right and just
and fair—every good path.
For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
Discretion will protect you,
and understanding will guard you.

The Holy Bible : Today’s New International Version. 2005 (Pr 2:9–11). Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan.

COMMENT:

Wisdom protects us like a good night’s sleep, adequate and healthy food, and exercise protect our bodies. It strengthens our immune system and gives us the best chance for resisting disease and other physical problems. It sharpens our mind and keeps us alert. It improves our mood and maximizes our productivity. It’s good for us and for those around us.
