It is normally an easy matter to remove offensive posts&#8211;our message board software has a simple way of doing it. But today, as I&#8217;ve found on occasion, one of the postings had not only appeared as a message on the board, but it was invisible to the message board&#8217;s software&#8217;s message removal tool; and of course, even going in there and physically removing the particular post (posts appear as separate html files) did not make it disappear from the top page. I had to go in and restore the index file from a backup in order to finally make all traces of it vanish.
